Jessica Martin completed her BA (HONS) Textile Design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in 2004. She specialised in printed textiles. After her degree Jessica spent time doing freelance work for various printed textile design studios both fashion and interiors. Jessica has sold work at Indigo Paris and various other trade fairs . Jessica has both creative and commercial portfolios. On the MA Design Textile Futures course Jessica has been exploring new ways of experimenting and being creative in print. Jessica has built her design and craft skills up to a high level. Jessica’s skills include screen printing, illustration, Photoshop, Illustrator, colour theory, drawing and painting. Jessica is inspired by travel depicting city scenes and landscapes in illustration. Her "Mix and Match" concept is based on China and   its people   and culture.   "Mix and Match"   allows wearers of the garments to be creative with their clothing.   Reversible dresses allow four designs in one and magnets are used to add colour and three dimensional aspects.
